On June 14, join Of The People and the Democrats Abroad at the Feministischer Streik in Zürich to say “No to misogyny and no to kings!”
In the US, proud Americans across the country will be celebrating “No Kings Day,” marking President Trump’s June 14th birthday not with the military parade he desires, but by celebrating the power of citizen voices.
And here in Zürich, we’re marching in solidarity with the Feministischer Streik to say: Enough! No to misogyny. No to kings.
Equality and democracy go hand-in-hand. Donald Trump’s White House is a parade of accused abusers. What may have begun as a disrespect for women has grown into a disrespect for democracy; Trump and his cronies disregard not only the rights of individuals, but our very right to self-rule.
Trump plans tanks in the streets of Washington to celebrate his vanity. On June 14th, let’s celebrate our rights instead.
This is a fight for equality and the very soul of democracy, in the US and abroad.
